In many modern so-called American conservative circles (which is the opposite of traditional conservatism), the writings and ideology of Ayn Rand have become quite popular. Thankfully, not everyone has been taken in by this vile, Satanic teaching. Indeed, many so-called conservatives, who still try to hold onto morality, see right through Ayn Rand and denounce her as they should. I congratulate them. While our reasons for opposing Rand will not be identical, that we both see her ideology for the vile, worthless trash it is – gives some hope that perhaps we can find agreement on other issues as well. Let us hope so.
She establishes a pseudo-intellectual veneer for selfishness. “Freedom” sounds good, and she promotes “freedom” – the freedom that Satan established in the garden of Eden. She, like Satan, says there is no God to fear, no laws which should hold you back. Such laws, such morality, enslaves; you should not be enslaved: be free, do as you will. If you find yourself in need, take from others, do whatever you can to get ahead. Compassion is for the weak, the worthless; you can only be free if you live for yourself and for yourself alone.
For those who remain unconvinced, watch this video. It shows what Ayn Rand’s ideology leads to. She denies the family. She denied maternity. She denies children. She supports abortion. After all, a child makes demands on the mother, demands which turns the mother from her selfish-freedom into the slave of the child. Or so Ayn Rand would have you believe.
