MYPILLOW’S CEO Mike Lindell, above, who went from crack to Christ and called Trump ‘America’s greatest President who was chosen by God,’ is smarting over the way he was treated by CNN host Anderson Cooper last month.
In fact he was so pissed off over being accused of lying and being a charlatan by Cooper that he instructed attorney L Lin Wood to send a letter to CNN threatening “legal redress” unless Cooper retracted his claim that Lindell was a “snake oil salesman” for pushing Oleandrin, an unproven treatment for COVID-19 that experts warn could be toxic.
Wood said in his letter:
While I am fully aware that Cooper’s sarcastic, mocking, derisive, and demeaning tone, attitude and facial expressions toward Mr. Lindell are not legally actionable, I have complete confidence that Cooper’s false and defamatory accusations are actionable.
During the interview with Lindell, Cooper repeatedly questioned Lindell’s credentials. He told the former crackhead:
You don’t have a medical background, you’re not a scientist, yet you’re claiming this substance, which has not been studied in any meaningful way, can cure COVID. And you have a financial stake in the company. You would profit from it if this is being sold widely. Morally, is that right?”
In his letter, Wood claims that Cooper was incorrect about testing for the drug, and said that he used that false assertion to:
Cast aspersions on Mr. Lindell’s character and reputation
In July Lindell participated in meeting at the White House with Trump regarding the use of Oleandrin, an extract from the plant Nerium oleander. The raw oleander plant is highly toxic, and consumption of it can be fatal.
He described the President’s response toward the extract as “enthusiastic.”
He was enthusiastic, as he is on everything that’s going to help people.
