Yes, this makes two baseball movie entries. But hey, this is my list. I’ll do what I want.

Plus, there’s no such thing as Too Many Baseball Movie Soundtrack Composed by Guys Names Randy. No. Such. Thing. …although I will admit that I’m always sort of expecting a dragon to come swooping in at the end of this movie.

It’s a shame Carter Burwell isn’t named “Randy,” because I’d have loved to be allowed to mention his unusual, but great work on The Rookie. Although maybe it’s more accurate to say “great because unusual.” Soundtracks can become just as clichéd as the films they’re supporting, right?
