Can we make binge-reading the new binge-watching? October 26, 2015

It’s Monday morning at the office and binge-watching Netflix probably isn’t an option for the next eight hours or so. Can I recommend binge-reading instead?

I’ve just dropped a new Left Behind Index here, with eight full seasons now streaming free online.

It’s all there in one convenient, almost-complete package.

That almost-complete bit is what I need to mention here. Nine of the posts in this series got lost in transition when we migrated this blog over to WordPress from TypePad. Thanks to some sharp web-work by Shay Guy and NS in comments, I’ve managed to rescue eight of them via the Wayback Machine. (Those are the unlinked posts listed in the index.)

I’ll be reformatting those and reposting them here throughout the day today so that they can rejoin their companions in the archives and I can add links to them in the soon-to-be-even-more-nearly-complete index. This will likely involve a flurry of new old posts here later on today.

That shouldn’t interfere with anyone’s plans to start binge-reading through the index, though, as I expect to get them added before you’ll have time to finish reading the dozens of posts that come before them. Start at the beginning of the series today and it should help get you all the way through the week. You may even have enough entries left over this weekend to invite that special someone over to, you know, just binge-read and chill.

Whether or not binge-reading catches on, I’m hoping this new index will make it easier for anyone who wants to start at the beginning and read the whole series. I’m pleased with it and I hope you will be too.
