He Meets Us in Solitude

Solitude is an essential place for restless hearts and anxious minds. It is not an easy place, since we are more at ease with distractions, and immediate satisfaction, than having to examine our lives, addictions, or self centered nature. It can be a lonely place. But there is One who will also meet us in solitude, One who says, “Do not fear, I am with you, and will guide you from darkness and into the light of Me.”
