Sex Trafficking: Where Has Love Gone? by Lisa Mitts

Please take a look at this video that was put together by volunteers in support to end sex trafficking. Lisa Mitts and film producer Gary Voelker along with many others put love, exposure, and impact into the 4 minute video. In fact my brother Tom Ricciardelli is in the video as the big thug in the black leather jacket. Please share this link with others.

Human trafficking has developed into the 2nd largest criminal enterprise in the world, with an estimated 27 million people currently enslaved worldwide. That means human trafficking has surpassed the illegal arms trade in terms of global black-market trade. Human trafficking victims include men, women and children in labor servitude, private ownership and in sexual services. The majority – approximately 80% – of these victims are women and children who have been bought, sold and imprisoned in the underground sexual service industry. The average age of the girls is around 14, some areas are much younger than that.

The Defender Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working within the realm of anti-human trafficking. We provide such services as Public Awareness, Prevention, Victim Services (including rescue, shelter and rehabilitation), as well as Prosecution of the criminals who are profiteering from the criminal sexual exploitation of children. We distinguish ourselves by being one of the only anti-human trafficking organizations in the U.S. that has trained retrieval teams (Shield Teams) standing by. These retrieval teams are comprised of current and ex-law enforcement and military personnel, along with others who possess unique skill sets which make them valuable assets in the identification, retrieval and protection of potential human trafficking victims

Please prayerfully support to reduce and one day end sex trafficking in your community and for more information, take a peak at the Washington chapter.
