About writing for Patheos, Mulhern says, “Patheos offers a wonderful platform for exploring spiritual ideas and generating conversation around the things that matter most. One writer (me, for instance) can dig into Trinitarian developments in the early Church and then later delve into medieval Christian thought. Another can address contemporary events from a religious perspective; yet another can share his or her personal numinous experiences. While we all might disagree profoundly about meaning and interpretations and the unseen world, Patheos makes space for each of us.” Mulhern offers up this advice to future writers, “My best advice remains the advice I give to myself and often fail to take. Write more! The Patheos platform is the place to work out ideas, to share visions. It affords the opportunity to hone a craft and to become a better writer, but obsessions with perfection or polishing will only get in the way of your goals.” Visit Kathleen’s webpage at www.kathleenmulhern.com.
