Events of the last couple of days make it clear that if We the People don’t fight back, we are going to lose our country forever. Trump and the Republican Party, plus their media and, I assume although I haven’t heard from them directly, his whore clergy are doing everything they can to hand the United States of America over to Soviet dominance.
It’s bad enough that the Soviet press is gloating about it, saying publicly and in print that America’s foreign policy now aligns with Russia’s.
These are difficult times, and they are only going to get more difficult as this plays out.
That brings me back to the corner stone of all that I believe. I believe in Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I’ve found myself asking, “Lord, what are you teaching us with these dark times?”
I do not believe for one moment that this evil is from God. It is obviously satanic.
There is an astringent for satanic forces. I accidentally stumbled onto its power when I posted it on my Facebook page a year or so ago. I used to have a Facebook page with many thousands of followers. I got rid of it after last November and have not missed it at all.
When I had it, I posted the Apostle’s Creed. I believe what the Creed says. If you ask me to summarize my faith, I could just hand you the Creed as an answer.
My Facebook page had all sorts of followers, including quite a number of people of other faiths or no faith. All were welcome to join in the discussion on that page. However, a number of the more militant atheists on the page, as well as atheists who weren’t “friends” of the page but just saw the post on Facebook, went ballistic. I don’t remember most of the things they said, but it was histrionic, crazy and as ugly as they could make it.
I just blocked them and went on. But the reaction astonished me. They reacted to the Creed the way Tribbles react to Klingons. I posted the Creed several times after that, at least partly because I wanted to verify that this was what was happening. Every single time, I got the same reaction.
I’ve experienced similar things before in other contexts. When Jesus said, if you’re not with Me, you’re against Me, He evidently meant it literally.
My explanation — and this is just a guess, based on experience — is that if the Holy Spirit does not live in a person, if they are not Christ’s person, then the darkness has at least a small presence in them. I’m not saying they are demon possessed or anything like that. But it seems — emphasis seems; I’m definitely not claiming that I know this — that something in them is so repulsed by the Image of Christ, even jf it’s a faint and imperfect Image, that they flip out.
The Creed, sends them into orbit. They. Get. Ugly.
Before this happened, I never dreamed the Creed had this power. I only knew that the Creed meant a lot to me. I pray it often. I cling to it in times of trouble.
This is what I believe. It is my faith. In times like these, when the foundation of America itself is being attacked and corrupted by fascist liars we have made the mistake of giving great power, we need to stop, take inventory, and decide what we believe and where we stand.
This is what I believe.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
Amen.
