It goes both ways. I’ve seen it. There’s not only the abuse of shepherds towards sheep. I’ve seen sheep gang up on the shepherd. It ain’t pretty either way. Did you know there are clergy-abuse groups? I mean clergy who form unions to protect themselves against abuse. I guess this shepherd hadn’t joined yet. Or if he escapes I’m sure he might. Many people chalk up division to demonic powers. In my opinion it often comes down to a human... Read more

I think this cartoon speaks for itself. Rather graphic I’ll admit. But something I’ve learned over the years: there are wolves. Then there are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Then there are just some nasty sheep. And they seem to be on the rise. Just sayin. Buy a print of this cartoon from my cartoon gallery. I have an image terms of use policy. This is based on a very old post of mine. If we’re going to fight, let’s fight fair. Here’s a few rules I would suggest to my readers. Especially those who comment: Be respectful. Don’t name-call. Don’t belittle others.? Example: “I believe there is a God because he talks to me!” “I always thought you were a stupid idiot!“ Focus on the issue. Don’t get personal. Maintain clarity on your view. Example: “If there is a God, why is there... Read more

How many people have I come across who don’t feel loved? They walk through their entire lives believing that they aren’t loved. Reminds me of the wonderful duet by Jann Arden and Jackson Browne, “Unloved“. This drawing is a simple reminder that at the root of everything, underneath it all, is love. At every single moment of every single day in every single life, love is behind, beneath, above, before and within it all. Buy a print of this cartoon... Read more

There are some who long for the past. There are others who long for the future. The promise brings these two and unites then in the present. The present isn’t full of fulfillment. Instead, it is full of our contentment, our satisfaction. Our gratitude. My image terms of use policy. Please join my newsletter by clicking here. Read more

I’m glad to give away another, no wait!… THREE ORIGINAL pieces of my art. This is a picture of one of these original works.... Read more

I woke up sad. I had a disturbing dream. Like a tyrant, it overlorded my day. But it wasn’t just the dream, but what it symbolized. I realized as I meditated upon the dream that it symbolized I didn’t have much time left. I’m not talking about my life, because I have no idea. I’m talking about my present state of unemployment. My severance runs out the end of this month. I still haven’t found a way to make my... Read more
