Using social media to promote my book makes me hate everything. It’s like standing in crowded room with a megaphone shouting at the top of your lungs only to realize that you’re inside an invisible soundproof box. I’m so grateful to those of you who have been willing to support me by sharing and tweeting about the book. I’m so grateful to those of you who have supported my thunderclap social media blast (there’s still time!). I really believe that this book can be a source of healing for the people who read it, but it’s incredibly difficult to get the word out and I feel like I utterly lack the mojo of my friends who instinctively know how to make their words viralize around the interwebs.

So if you’ve been blessed by what you’ve read here and you’d like to help me get the word out, I wanted to make it super-easy for you. Below are seven retweetable quotes from my book set up with “click to tweet” links. All you have to do is click the link and it will automatically create a tweet for you to send. Thank you so much for your help!

“If Jesus’ cross is the heart of Christianity, then maybe Jesus has never stopped being crucified by his people.”

“This is a book for Christians who are troubled by what we’ve become and want Jesus to save the world from us.”

“We’re not saved from God’s disapproval. We’re saved from believing the serpent’s lie & hiding in the bushes.”

“Labeling becomes impossible when we are invested enough in others’ dignity to be accomplices in their humanity.”

“The goal is not to stay clean; the goal is to be emptied of self-preoccupation so we can lose ourselves in God.”

“To be spiritual is to live within the breath of God rather than living as meat that is actively decaying.”

“Fearing God is not about being afraid of what God will do to me, but what I might do to Jesus.”
