Sweet Tweets for 7/18/14 — Praying for Peace and Healing

From my hilltop “office” in the Catskills, it’s easy to feel far removed from the news. We don’t have a phone here and I’ve been trying to limit my elective media use as this experience is almost retreat-like in nature. But this past week’s events including the strife in the Middle East, the typhoon, the border issues and yesterday’s plane crash have found there way even up onto my mountain. I’m in prayer — as I know you are — for so many who need peace and healing. I’m appreciative of Pope Francis’ efforts to lead us in intercessory prayer for those most in need during these turbulent times.
