New Gosnell Documentary Goes Where No One Has Gone Before!

I vividly remember the day I watched the 20 minute long documentary, “3801 Lancaster” on the now infamous Kermit Gosnell and his “house of horrors” women’s medical society clinic in Philadelphia. Over my lunch break, I had grabbed my salad, plugged my headphones into my computer and settled in to watch the video. Within moments, I lost any appetite I had and wept as I watched the horrors unfold before my eyes.

If you haven’t watched the short film, which won “Best Short Film” at the 2013 Justice Film Festival, I highly encourage you to watch it. While it will break your heart and cause your stomach to turn, it is imperative for Christians to rightly inform themselves with truth. As the defenders of life and the most vulnerable in society, we have a duty and a responsibility to educate ourselves, so that we can love others and offer the best help possible. Our ultimate goal is that all may know forgiveness and eternal joy in Christ.

5 years after the Philadelphia Police and the FBI raided the offices of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, writer and director David Altrogge will release a featured length documentary on November 10, 2015. This film is part of an expansion of 3801 Lancaster’s earlier short film about the Gosnell case entitled “3801 Lancaster“.

“3801 Lancaster: American Tragedy” will chronicle the story of the infamous Philadelphia abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell and will feature chilling interviews with Dr. Gosnell from prison, detectives, police officers, jurors, and victims.

“I think people will be shocked by what they hear,” said Altogge, “Nothing was off limits with Gosnell – his childhood, medical school, the trial, the murder charges, and the snippings. He candidly discusses it all.” The director and producer spend almost a year interviewing Dr. Kermit Gosnell, and the film will take viewers behind the scenes of one of the most controversial cases of the decade.
