How do you say “Mom, I”m Gay” in Spanish?

A Dad in England kicks his gay son out of the house. A church in Australia shuns a family for supporting their lesbian daughter. A transgender woman is attacked in South Africa.

Hate knows no geographic boundaries.

A Mom in Canada goes shopping for clothes with her trans daughter. A Dad loves and stands by his gay son in Uganda. A church is open and affirming in Brazil.

Love knows no geographic boundaries.

We have been asked to do the book, “Mom, I’m Gay” in Spanish and we are currently looking for a volunteer to do that for us. (hint)  🙂

We humbly stand in awe of how much FreedHearts has grown. We are now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the book is doing great, and the FreedHearts.org blog now gets more than 25,000 views each month, and continues to increase.

We seem to have struck a nerve.

It has been painful. It has been beautiful.

The wave of love is growing. It is coming. Do you feel it?

Even in the face of condemnation and rejection and attack from family and ‘friends’, but with the strength of love, encouragement and support from family and friends, we will continue this work with renewed passion and commitment.

Love is always the right thing to do. Always.

Our voices are getting louder and stronger, and we are not going anywhere.
