Sakyadhita USA — the United States branch of the Sakyadhita International Association of Buddhist Women, “an alliance of women (and men) committed to transforming the lives of women in Buddhist societies” — launched a new eZine at the start of the new year, entitled American Buddhist Women.
“The response to issue No. 1 was extremely positive,” the website states. “Lay and monastic Buddhist women from across the country emailed to say how much they liked the new eZine and what it brings. Several shared their stories for the eZine.”
Issue No. 2 just dropped, and you can view it online here. In addition, you can subscribe to American Buddhist Women (for free) and receive future issues at your inbox by submitting your email here.
Sakyadhita USA also has this invitation for interested parties:
…We want to invite readers to share their stories about their lives and Buddhist practice. In particular, how do you integrate your practice into your daily life as an American Buddhist woman? Email your story with a photo to us at [email protected].
