Questions for Family/Individual
- Do you know anyone who talks too much? When someone is talking all the time, what are they NOT doing?
- Have you heard many opinions about COVID-19? What are some of them?
- In Job 1 and 2, Job lost everything but his own life (children, houses, business, health, happy marriage, etc.). In Job 3-37, Job and all his friends share their opinions on what God was doing. All of them had wrong opinions. What does that reveal about our constant talking? What does this say about always trying to figure out “Why?�
- After a long list of questions from the LORD (Job 38-41), Job realizes he should have just kept his mouth shut and let God be God (see Job 42:1-6). How can this help us when we go through pain and suffering?
- Read Job 42:5. Why is this such an incredible insight? What does this tell us about why God allows suffering?
- Who do you know who is suffering right now? How can you be present – just present – in their lives?
- In what ways do you need to chill out, remember God is good, and be okay with Him being God?

- If you dare, share your own theories? If you feel really daring, share you opinion about wearing a mask?

- Take 30 minutes and prayerfully read Job 38-42. What thoughts come to your mind as you read?
