Griffin Ced is the WitchFather of Ced, a Family/Clan-based British Traditional Witchcraft Line. He is known in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City & other places around the US for his informative, insightful classes, powerful rituals and extensive Pagan Community Service Work.

Born and raised in Britain where he was first Initiated over four decades ago, Griffin now manages The Green Man in Los Angeles. The store is a vibrant hub of Old World Craft, offering classes, rituals, gatherings and events of all sorts. For over two decades Griffin has worked to build Community, bringing his distinctive form of British Traditional Witchcraft to the mix. He is often spoken of as a true Son of Olde Horny because of his heretical, candid, and sometimes irreverent approach to all areas of his life as a Witch.

The Ced Tarot was conceived and designed by Griffin Ced, illustrated by Arnett Taylor, and coloured by Dean Cameron. By conceived, what is meant is this: the Ced Tarot was mediated via gnostic transmission through Griffin into concept sketches that aligned with the Ced Stream imagery, yet were based upon the basic concepts of traditional Tarot. Over ten years these sketches were translated into 81 beautiful works of art, skillfully executed by Arnett Taylor.
We have found that people who have no background in Tarot have found this deck easy to connect with. However one should note that the core imagery is of a Traditional Craft source and as such opens much to explore within the Traditional Craft Legacy as well as that of the Tarot.

Unlike many Tarot decks that are arranged upon the Kabalistic Tree, the Ced Tarot is aligned with the Traditional Craft cosmology of the Ced Stream which is founded upon an Airts Compass form with its many levels, expressions and associations. Reflecting upon the Tarot Legacy through the eyes of the Ced Stream delivered interesting insights, perspectives and clarity regarding both Legacies, that of Ced and The Tarot. Often when streams meet and reflect upon each other, insight and clarity become the true reward.

In the same manner, this class offers more than a simple introduction into a Tarot Deck system. It offers a means to explore and navigate a Traditional Craft system in a multitude of ways, from spell crafting to tracking the tides of spirit within the web of wyrd, and encounters with guardian spirits and teachers, just to scratch the surface. Telling fortunes is far from the end of the story with this Deck.
