About

After nearly ten years of living under the servitude of drug addiction and promiscuity, Joel had a profound and personal encounter with God at a Catholic retreat that would forever change his life. Joel felt that God was calling him to share His love and mercy with everyone around him, especially the youth and those who are suffering from addictions and depression.

Joel is Director of Formation and Evangelization at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church; Regular Contributor at North Texas Catholic; and Radio Host at Comunidad Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas.

Joel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, a Pastoral Ministry Certificate and a Substance Abuse Intensive Training Certification and a Masters Degree in Sacred Theology.

Joel has traveled through the U.S. and abroad sharing his powerful conversion testimony and giving hope to many youth and adults. Along with being a passionate evangelist, he is a dynamic retreat leader, musician and songwriter.
