Signing That Problematic Social Justice Statement

Signing That Problematic Social Justice Statement September 16, 2018

I am sure this is what Doug Wilson of Blog and Mablog would like to be doing, but is not. Had to start with a meme because Doug himself did that with one making fun of those that think the church should be part of helping end social injustice, like you know, Jesus did. He signed that hideous Statement on Social Justice and the Gospel like the good little Pharisee.

Here’s what Doug said about signing a statement that is diametrically opposed to every Jesus said:

Good grief! He thinks that feeding the hungry is being on the stupid side of the issue? I can only refute Wilson’s hate with the words of Jesus, the guy he’s supposedly following:

Matthew 25:35 – 40

35Β For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36Β I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37Β β€œThen the righteous will answer him, β€˜Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38Β When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39Β When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40Β β€œThe King will reply, β€˜Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
